" A Pair Of Pears"6x8 oil on linen
Last week I had my classes paint pears, studying lights and darks and plane changes. I was so inspired by everyone's work that I did a quick study myself and called it "A Pair Of Pears". This painting was signed, varnished, framed, and delivered to the Squire House In Afton MN yesterday and will be in the show opening this Saturday.

Good job! Besides the painting of the pears, the thing that I thought was most beautiful on this one was the transition from the cool table cloth into the warmer background dark. IRL that is gorgeous. :-)
