This painting was one I did from a late summer field study. I knew when I painted the small piece that I would be painting a larger one. I could spend a life time studying this beautiful plant.
At your show many people said that this painting was the one that they enjoyed seeing the most. That's a real compliment, since they liked so many, and it was the last painting you finished just before the show opened. Good job painter! :)
